It seems at times that my demands on my time are none stop and all my good intentions to post to my blog daily goes by the way side, due to the many demands of both running the Fashion Business Inc (FBI) and my Harder publications.
My 7th edition of Fashion For Profit has just been delivered, all 2,000 copies and I am trying to get finished my Brand Building for Profit before the holidays.
Getting the new FFP completed was one thing but changing ISBN #'s out for distributors has been another painful experience, which I am still trying to sort out. It seems to that posting or doing any transactions on line through the Internet turns into a very frustrating transaction.
Besides, the above, I produced our first fashion show at the New Mart for the first day of Spring market. Taking into consideration it was our first, it was a big success and we plan to make it a regular occurrence on each first day of market. Andrae (Project Runway fame) was great and a real pro as MC.
I then flew to NY to present four seminars for a new textile show that features mills willing to sell smaller quantities to the small manufacturer. All went well and it was exciting for me to be in the Big Apple!
Got back to LA and went straight into LA Textile show, where we (the FBI) provided around 15 free seminars on a wide variety of subjects for manufacturers to attend free of charge during the three day show.
To be continued .....
