Well, my week of vacation in Hawaii has now past.
As I look back on it I feel very grateful to be so very fortunate to have had such a great invitation from a girl friend, who also invited 8 other female friends. Her amazing house on the water in Kauai is really movie style. My other invite was from my son who owns a couple of beautiful houses up in hills of Maui that over looking both sides of the island, which he and his business partner are renovating.
My days were spent swimming, walking and enjoying great meals at the end of the day, which we all took turns to cook. In Kauai, each evening we enjoyed the extra company of more than twenty sea turtles swimming up stream to feed on the fresh water fish coming down stream to the sea.
Our beach was often shared with Monk Seals who came ashore to rest before swimming off to hunt for food. I saw at least 5 whales blow and enjoyed many beautiful birds and exotic plants. The down side was my over confidence in the water nearly had me eaten by a shark and drowned by rough seas.
However, the benefits to ones self being of getting away from every day work to experience nature and good company is priceless. I hope that anyone reading this will take my advise and make sure to get away from this crazy world of fashion that we are involved in and enjoy some downtime.
So, now I am back to work and catching up with many old and new projects...
To be continued......
